VAE REPORT
As part of a prominent arterial corridor along Burwood Highway in Burwood, we were engaged to prepare Visual Amenity Evidence (VAE) to assess the visual impact of a proposed signage installation. The assessment tested the scale, placement and illumination of the signage against existing built form, landscape character and key pedestrian and vehicular viewpoints. Particular consideration was given to minimising visual dominance and maintaining the established rhythm of the streetscape. The VAE demonstrates that the proposed signage is legible and effective while remaining proportionate, restrained, and respectful of the surrounding urban context.
