A sculptural reception desk anchors the room. Wrapped in vertical black fluting with a brushed brass base, the form introduces rhythm and weight while maintaining elegance. A subtle curved edge softens its presence, reinforcing a sense of welcome. Behind, a delicate brass arch detail provides a quiet focal point, referencing traditional ornament in a simplified and disciplined manner.
The surrounding envelope is defined by crisp white wall panelling and decorative cornices, establishing a formal framework that feels timeless and ordered. Dark joinery elements are strategically positioned to provide contrast and depth, strengthening the overall composition. Cylindrical fluted columns echo the detailing of the reception desk, creating continuity across the space.
Underfoot, a terrazzo floor introduces texture and durability, grounding the interior with a refined yet robust finish. Soft, layered lighting enhances materiality and highlights the interplay between light and shadow across the fluted surfaces.
The result is an interior that feels both elevated and approachable. Through clarity of structure, disciplined detailing, and a balanced material palette, the design delivers a reception space that communicates confidence, professionalism, and enduring sophistication.
