Tower Street

COMMERCIAL

Located in Melbourne’s north-east suburbs, this project presents a contemporary commercial building defined by fluid form and environmental connection. The architecture moves beyond conventional commercial rigidity, introducing a smooth, curved façade that creates a welcoming and confident presence within its suburban context.

The building’s flowing geometry softens its scale and establishes a distinct identity along the streetscape. Expansive glazing wraps the curved form, allowing generous natural light to penetrate deep into the interior. Workspaces are bright and open, supporting productivity, collaboration, and occupant wellbeing. The reflective quality of the glass captures surrounding greenery and sky, visually embedding the building within its landscape.

Horizontal concrete bands introduce rhythm and structure to the façade. These elements articulate each level while extending outward to form cantilevered balconies and terraces. The outdoor spaces provide opportunity for pause and informal gathering, strengthening the relationship between interior and exterior. Integrated planting across these terraces further softens the built form and reinforces a connection to nature.

The surrounding landscape is carefully considered, with mature trees and layered planting framing the architecture. This green setting establishes a calm threshold between street and building, balancing urban presence with environmental sensitivity. Movement between inside and outside is intuitive and seamless, enhancing the daily experience of occupants.

Materiality is restrained and deliberate. Concrete provides permanence and grounding, while glazing introduces lightness and transparency. Together, these elements create a composed architectural language that is both contemporary and enduring.

The project reflects the evolving character of Melbourne’s north-east suburbs. Through clarity of form, thoughtful landscaping, and a strong connection to light and nature, it delivers a workplace environment that is refined, functional, and grounded in its context.
