Tower Street

COMMERCIAL

Located in Melbourne’s north-east suburbs, an area experiencing steady commercial growth and transition, this project presents a contemporary workplace defined by fluid form and a strong connection to its landscape setting.

The architecture moves beyond conventional commercial rigidity, adopting a curved façade that introduces a softer and more welcoming presence within the streetscape. This flowing geometry reduces perceived scale and establishes a clear identity, allowing the building to sit comfortably within its suburban context while maintaining a confident civic expression.

Expansive glazing wraps the form, bringing consistent natural light deep into the interior. Workspaces are open, bright and adaptable, supporting productivity and collaboration while reinforcing occupant wellbeing. The reflective quality of the façade captures surrounding greenery and sky, visually embedding the building within its environment and creating a dynamic external expression.

Horizontal concrete bands provide structure and rhythm. These elements articulate each level while extending outward to form cantilevered terraces and balconies. These outdoor spaces introduce moments for pause, informal meeting and connection, strengthening the relationship between interior and exterior. Integrated planting across these مستويات softens the built form and reinforces a grounded, natural character.

The landscape is carefully composed, with mature trees and layered planting establishing a calm threshold between street and building. Circulation is intuitive, allowing movement between inside and outside to feel seamless and deliberate.

Materiality is restrained and durable. Concrete provides a sense of permanence and structure, while glazing introduces lightness and clarity. Together, these elements create a refined and balanced architectural language.

This project reflects the evolving character of Melbourne’s north-east suburbs, delivering a workplace that is contemporary, functional and grounded in its context.
