MIXED-USE
ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN

Located on a 2,865sqm site in a vibrant north-east suburb of Melbourne, this mixed-use development establishes a new gateway to a thriving retail and commercial precinct. The project brings together retail, commercial offices, hospitality, childcare, hotel accommodation, and contemporary apartments within a single, cohesive architectural vision.

Conceived as an integrated urban complex, the development balances diversity of program with clarity of form. Retail and hospitality tenancies activate the ground plane, strengthening engagement with the surrounding streetscape and encouraging pedestrian movement. Above, commercial spaces and residential apartments are carefully layered to ensure privacy, amenity, and operational efficiency. A dedicated childcare centre is seamlessly incorporated, supporting families and reinforcing the project’s community focus.

The architectural language is defined by a refined glass façade framed in crisp white elements. Transparency and structure work together to maximise natural light while establishing a clean and confident presence within the urban fabric. The composition is contemporary and disciplined, prioritising proportion, rhythm, and functionality across each component of the building.

Outdoor terraces and landscaped pockets are integrated throughout, offering moments of relief within the density of the site. These communal spaces encourage interaction while providing quieter areas for retreat. At roof level, a hospitality venue captures expansive views across the surrounding neighbourhood, creating a destination that extends activity beyond ground level.

This development demonstrates a considered approach to mixed-use architectural design. By uniting living, working, learning, and leisure within a single address, it delivers a connected and enduring urban environment grounded in clarity, balance, and contemporary refinement.
