Located in the leafy eastern suburb of Ringwood, the Wonga Rd project is a contemporary multi-residential development that reimagines suburban living through smart planning, refined material choices, and a strong focus on livability. The project involved the reduction of an existing standalone dwelling to make way for the construction of three brand-new, generously sized townhouses, each thoughtfully designed to suit modern family life.

The architectural vision for the project was to introduce a clean, modern aesthetic that remains warm and inviting. The white brick is paired with exposed concrete elements to give the façade a contemporary edge, while the inclusion of timber front doors adds a natural, tactile warmth. This subtle contrast not only breaks up the building’s form visually but also helps it integrate more organically into the surrounding streetscape.

Each of the three townhouses is designed to function as an independent home while sharing a secure basement car park, efficiently utilising the sloped site. The shared basement includes ample parking and storage, and each townhouse is connected to the basement via its own private lift—a premium feature rarely found in developments of this scale. This addition provides enhanced accessibility, privacy, and convenience for future residents.

Internally, the layouts maximise natural light and cross-ventilation, with open-plan living areas, generous kitchens, and direct access to private outdoor spaces. Carefully planned landscaping further enhances privacy and creates a sense of separation between dwellings, making each residence feel spacious and independent.
